Trey works closely with the Army Reserve to assess and recommend energy and water security and resiliency options for facilities and infrastructure. He specializes in water conservation and security policy and on the utilization of alternative water sources. His work revolves around the intersection of water and energy efficiency, water and wastewater treatment, and resiliency and security policy to ensure buildings and infrastructure operate efficiently, sustainably and securely.

Trey has worked previously on energy efficiency as an energy manager and on water efficiency at the U.S. EPA's WaterSense program as an ORISE Fellow. His water policy experience includes time at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Trey served as a soldier in the Army National Guard for six years and has volunteered as a WASH Engineer for Team Rubicon and the International Medical Corps in Africa.
