Biography

Carmen Cejudo, PE, joined BCS this week as a Buildings Energy/Water Efficiency Research Engineer 3. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in Environmental Engineering. She is a licensed Mechanical Engineer with 12+ years’ experience designing and delivering energy and water efficient HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems for a variety of building types ranging from Office, Retail, Multifamily, Laboratories and even an Aquarium. Carmen is passionate about sustainable building practices with a specific emphasis on the interconnection between energy and water use in the built environment. When not at work, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, hiking, and sewing face coverings for friends and family. Carmen will be based in the Seattle office.
